For Professional Heating Help And Advice             From designing to commissioning

Home Owners

Your personal heating consultant

Member of the chartered institute of plumbing and heating engineering.

Once you have made contact with us, we will provide independent and impartial advice on your heating and hot water requirements.

We evaluate which renewable heating technology is best suited for your property and establish the appropriate manufacture based on your requirements. Resulting the best energy and money savings for you.

We will perform a detailed room by room heat loss calculation as advised by CIBSE Domestic Heating Design Guide (This is not a SAP or EPC report) which enable us to review the heat pump or Biomass size required and evaluate the performance of each room.

This is a requirement when obtaining an MCS quote and installing a heat pump / Biomass. It will reassure you as a client, and the installer that the correctly sized system is selected and operates to its best possible performance.

Having RDC Energy complete a Heat Loss & Heat Pump / Biomass Report also means that you will be offered multiple project costs from various MCS heat pump and MCS Biomass installers via us and not a salesperson. The important information gathered can be submitted to an MCS heat pump  / Biomass installer for them to prepare a cost for your project.

From your initial enquiry to commissioning of the new heating system we will be here to help.

About MCS

The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an industry-led and internationally recognised quality assurance scheme, supported by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC). MCS itself is an EN 45011 Scheme and was launched in 2008.

MCS certifies microgeneration products used to produce electricity and heat from renewable sources. MCS also certifies installation companies to ensure the microgeneration products have been installed and commissioned to the highest standard for the consumer. The certification is based on a set of installer standards and product scheme requirements which are available in the MCS Standards section of the MCS website.

RDC Energy will obtain multiple quotes for you after the heat loss report is completed (these quotes will be addressed directly to you). You can then choose the best quote, and whether you base your selection on cost, reputation, professionalism or equipment; we can help make a decision.
